HOSA-Future Health Professionals
Mrs. Hart and four of her Emerging Health Professional students attended HOSA State Leadership Conference in Lancaster, PA, which ran from March 8-10, 2017.
Bailey placed 1st (gold medal) and competed at International Leadership Conference June 21-24 in Orlando, Florida at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
- Kortney Heim - Tri-Valley competed in Job Seeking Skills
- Bailey Romberger - Tri-Valley competed in Researched Persuasive Writing & Speaking
- Marguerite Ortiz - Pottsville Area was our voting delegate. (Each chapter must have a delegate that attends SLC business meeting. She was on the Leadership Committee.)
- Courtney Earnest - Blue Mountain competed in Medical Math.
The class of 2019 has 100% participation in HOSA and plans on attending this year's Leadership Conference which will be held in King of Prussia. The group is actively fundraising to support the trip as well as the National Service Project. This year's charitible organization is the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. https://nationalpcf.org/
Students have donated $250 in support of this worthy organization.
