The HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technology program introduces students to the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the heating and cooling industry. Students learn how to install, maintain, and repair systems that control air temperature, humidity, and indoor air quality in homes and businesses. Through hands-on training and classroom instruction, students explore how heating and cooling systems work using electricity, natural gas, oil, and refrigerants

Certifications earned throughout the program: OSHA 10, Werner Ladder Certification, A2L Refrigerants, ESCO EPA 608, and many more. The program will culminate with students taking the NOCTI examination for HVACR, making them eligible to earn SOAR credits with a proficient score. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credit with post-secondary institutions through articulation agreements.
