(CIP Code 47.0201)

Instructor: Mr. Bennett

The Heating/Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) program prepares students for entry level employment in the HVACR field. Students will develop skills necessary to perform routine maintenance, service HVACR equipment, install HVACR equipment, and troubleshoot HVACR systems. Certifications earned will include: EPA 608 that provides guidelines for the use and handling of refrigerant, OSHA 10, and Werner ladder certification. The program will culminate with students taking the NOCTI examination for HVACR, making them eligible to earn SOAR credits with a proficient score. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credit with post-secondary institutions through articulation agreements.
